2017: An eventful year for Porthcawl Harbourside CIC!

As the end of 2017 approaches and we look forward to Christmas and New Year festivities, we at Harbourside are reflecting on a very busy year and are also pleased to announce the latest exciting progress on The Maritime Centre project.

2017 began with our successful EU funding award news.

SeaQuest have had an incredibly busy and successful year, delivering events and workshops to groups and families on our local beaches and travelling to many schools with the SeaBus Mobile Aquarium. More info from Claire at clare@porthcawl-harbourside.co.uk.  Our team has expanded this year, too, with the arrival of Julia (Finance Manager), while Abbie and Amy have recently joined us as SeaQuest Project Assistants.

You will see an increased on-site presence on Cosy Corner from December onwards, and the Harbourside team will be based in offices on site from the New Year.  Additionally, our crane installation and off-site storage facility is progressing.  For more information please contact Barrie at barrie@porthcawl-harbourside.co.uk.  Our fantastic new website – www.porthcawlmaritimecentre.co.uk – is now live, with the latest on Porthcawl Maritime Centre and SeaQuest – thanks to South Wales Web Solutions for a great job.
